Art for homes that are meant to be lived in.
I’m Kristin - a 41 year old mom, middle school teacher, wife, and artist.
The name Crowded Table means everything to me, both figuratively and literally. I truly believe the world is a better place when we make room at the table for everyone. It’s a reminder that everyone belongs, everyone has value, and there’s always space for one more.
It also happens to describe my everyday life perfectly. I paint from my dining room table, and with three kids, it’s almost never clear. There are usually art supplies, homework, snack crumbs, and the occasional paint spill sharing the same space. For a long time, I thought that meant I was doing something wrong. Social media made it seem like everyone else lived in perfectly styled homes with spotless creative spaces.
Eventually, I realized that the mess tells a much better story.
The crowded table is where life happens. It’s where my family gathers, where memories are made, and where my paintings come to life. I’ve learned to embrace the beautiful chaos and to see the spilled paint as part of the process rather than something to hide.
That philosophy finds its way into my artwork. I create colorful, expressive paintings that celebrate life—not perfection. My hope is that each piece brings warmth, joy, and a little more color into your home, while reminding you to find beauty in the imperfect moments that make life meaningful.
Thank you for being here. I’m so glad you found a seat at my table.
